As a beauty professional you are naturally creative and caring, I think. You want to help everyone to make them feel and look good. But when it comes to marketing your business you need to get focused so that you do not waste your time or money.
Think about who your favourite clients are, the ones you enjoy working with the most, who never question your prices. People who have your most profitable treatments. You might have more than one ideal client, but it is important to identify who they are and everything about them.
Over 50 wanting anti aging treatments and facials that visible results instantly, have a disposable income, like to make themselves look good.
Or possibly 20 somethings wanting funky bright nails, every 2 weeks but without spending lots of money. Keeping up with the latest fashion nail trends.
When you have a better feel for your ideal clients for your business, you will find it easier to market to them. Marketing to 50+ mature lady is totally different to marketing to a 20 something young girl. They like different things. Will be found in different places, and expect different content.
